Did you ever wonder how they found your button?

Poem Artwork

Where’s My Button?

Where are these buttons that people love to push?
Are they on your nose or could they be on your tush?
I’d surely like to know so I could flip the switch.
Thus, people couldn’t get to me and make my nerves twitch.

So many talk about this delightful button that everybody has.
It seems they find it easy when they tease, torment or razz.
My question is, where is it, for it seems so many know?
Where and how to push my button, so my top will always blow.

If you know where this button is, could someone be kind?
And tell me where it’s located so I don’t lose my mind.
Once I find it, I will have it disconnected so it doesn’t work.
Then they can push it all they want to and I’ll sit back and smirk.

This is a delightful one! The button happens to be invisible. You can only keep calm and pray when someone pushes it too hard.
Sometimes they push it accidentally, sometimes on purpose. Since we are told to pray for those who despitefully use us, we just need to call on the Lord and keep on keeping on, and let them push all they want.
(I hope I haven't pushed it)
Love,
Connie

lol. Wonderful write, but bad news, Bonnie. If you find one button and turn off the switch "they" just find another one. Great. Liz

Well Bonnie, some people don't like their buttons pushed, but love to push bottoms, or it is the other way around?

Clever write and enjoyable read, Bonnie. Think the button exists in our eyes and ears, which are connected to our heart and nerve system, which feed the brain. Maybe the answer is to shut our eyes and cover our ears, in such cases :o)

Great, Bonnie. If you find that button, please let me know
where it is. I've been trying for years to find a way to turn
it off. - Gene.
