(Ode for Ed Matlack)
There’s this comical guy I just got to know, who’s become dear to me.
He makes me laugh by what he writes but he truly writes what’s key.
He talks a lot about very significant issues in a most unusual way.
You must go and read his unique work for he will make your day.
When he writes on the adventures of Rufuz and all his own job hunting fears.
He can have you laughing but he can also bring on those blasted tears.
Now he’s extremely proud of his name and he should be of course.
For that same distinguished name of Ed was even given to a talking horse.
Forgive me Ed, I couldn’t resist a little humor of my own.
I’ll be good I promise and I will now watch my tone.
For you truly have been a blessing when I met you on AD.
And you have become a very dear friend to many and to even me.
