Dr. Bonnie’s House After the Murder!
AS they all stood around Dr. Bonnie’s body laying on the floor.
They were all in shock with disbelief and rocked to their core.
But the one who seemed to be the most shaken was her rival Ed.
Sure they were adversaries and she did hit him many times on his head.
But through it all he respected her as an adversary, and he grew fond of her too.
ED never expected these emotions would be so painful, this was very new.
He went to get the large wheelbarrow from the barn outside the house.
Ed scooped Dr. Bonnie’s body into it and left as quiet as a mouse.
Did his brother’s do this, could they have been so cruel?
No, they wouldn’t have killed her, they are no dimwitted fools.
Theirs would be the first place the police would go to look.
It must have been another, one who was in her appointment book.
“What did I hear today in the news report on the bloob tube?”
“Someone’s suing the Doc because she screwed up her boobs?”
“I’ll have to find out who did this, I won’t rest until I do.”
“With that, he started pushing again, feelin downright subdued.”
Ed wheeled the Doc to the morgue and said his heartfelt goodbyes,
And if you looked real closely you would see
The glittering tears in his big blue eyes.
“Goodbye Old Doc Bonnie, we will fight again.”
“And next time my friend, I will let you win.”
