Dr. Bonnie Awakens
The room was dark very dark as Dr. Bonnie was awakened.
She was lying on a hard slab and she was obviously shaken.
“Where am I, am I dead, where’s the blasted bright light?”
“Or did I go back to Hell again, as the Devil said I might.”
As she was pondering this, a man walked thought the door.
He had a mask upon his face but she had seen this man before.
Old Dr. Hognose the man who taught her everything she knew.
Which we know wasn’t a whole lot, but give the man his due.
“Dr. Hognose where am I and why am I here, are you dead too?”
“No, my colleague you’re alive and I just operated on you.”
“I gave you the heart of wolf for you were in dire straights.”
“It was the only heart I had, you were fated for the Pearly Gates.”
“I rescued you from the morgue that night when I heard about your death.”
“I got to you almost immediately, right before you took your last breath.”
“There’s only one problem my friend about the wolf heart I implanted in you.”
“When the full moon comes up, you’ll change into something quite new.”
“For you will now turn into a werewolf my dear and you will need to feed.”
“You will not be able to do a thing or stop yourself from your intense need.”
“Oh you Quack, this is awful, why you couldn’t find something not so vile?”
“You could have picked an ape or a hyena, that would have made me smile.”
“How could you have done this to me, I wouldn’t have even minded a cow.”
“But a wolf, heck I’m even afraid of dogs you nut, take it out. right now!”
“I can’t do that, for you will certainly die a horrible death if I operate again.”
“Oh, this is just great, but you did say I’m alive and will eventually mend.”
“OH, if those three idiot old coots did this to me, they will rule the day.”
“That they messed with the wrong person, when they messed with Dr. May.”
