They say women are bad! Huh, Men have no right to talk!

Poem Artwork

Forgive Us Fee!

Take a left, he takes a right,
Destination is still not in sight.
Take the 2nd right he takes the 3rd.
He has us lost, now how absurd.

Stop and ask at the Gas attendant there.
He passes it by, for he wouldn’t dare.
Over there’s a man, please ask him.
Speeds right past, I’m feelin grim.

Where are we, do you even know?
He keeps lookin around goin real slow.
Then he speeds up as if he saw a light.
O’ this was gonna be one long night.

How do we get to Fee’s safe and sound?
When this man won’t stop to look around.
He won’t ask for help, for he’s a “MAN.”
Fee’s Halloween party is in another land.

Dressed like idiots no party in sight.
Lost in the wilderness without a flashlight.
Running out of gas, no station around.
No hotel in site so we’ll sleep on the ground.

All of a sudden he stopped the car.
I don’t believe it, he found a bar.
He came out with a beer in his hand.
I said adieu to Fee’s party, for now he can’t stand.

Sorry Fee,

How true is THAT!!! I made it to Fee's paaaaty, but let me tell ya; hubby and I jott down around 25'000 miles a year. He NEVER used to ask for directions. EVER!! Does now, though. Guess my bitching about it paid off at the end.
Loved this one!!

Oh, Bonnie! You are too funny!!! My husband always "remembers" how to get there...even if it takes two or three "shortcuts" (read as "long detours where he doesn't really know where he's going") to get us there... hee, hee...

Fee’s Halloween party is in another land.

Real men never ask directions. Just load him back into the car, start drivin, and head due north. When you spot a real old vampire, a very lazy reptile devil, and a real hairy wolfman on the road, stop, pick us up, and we'll take your right there!
