When I was a little girl my brother told me a story that always made me laugh. My brother's gone now and so is that precious story but I do remember the last line or a version of it. So I decided to write my own story with the last line in mind. Thanks my dear bother, you always could make me laugh.

TOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Many!

Living upon a farm in Pennsylvania was a couple with way too many kids.
They were out of control, tearing everything a part and banging pots and lids.
Ma and Pa were exhausted from taking care of the farm and their big brew.
Relaxation for Ma & Pa was a dream wish because of their outlandish brew.
Ma & Pa’s 20 kids numbered from age of 20 years down to the age of two.

Ma always felt tired and couldn’t get the energy to do her daily chores.
She tried every drug she could from all the nearest grocery stores.
She hated to go to the doctors for no babysitter would come near.
And she hated leaving them with Pa ‘cause Pa drank too many beers.

So she took all of them with her to the Doctor appointment that she had.
After her examination, the Doc returned lookin frustrated and real sad.
“What is it doc, is it serious, I know I don’t have much energy or wind?
I’m afraid it’s bad news for you, my poor soul; for you are expecting twins.”

Oh my Lord, when she told Pa it was like beating him with heavy chains.
“What the heck are we gonna call them, we totally ran out of names.”
“Well Pa,
We’ll go to the barnyard, the first thing we see, will be the names we choose.”
“That’s sounds good enough for me he answered, then went to get his booze.”

It was the first day of school for the twins and they were as excited as could be.
The teacher asked them for their names and one twin answered her with glee.
“Mum, my name is Wagon Wheel,” he said loudly with tremendous pride.
Naturally the teacher didn’t believe him and asked him why he had lied.

"NO LIE! My name is really Wagon Wheel!” He said with the power of Zeus.
The teacher was furious and told him he needed to learn honesty & truths.

"You’re expelled for telling those lies, & don’t come back until next October."
Gee, he knew she was angry and he understood his school days were over.
Getting up with a red face, he gathered his stuff & suddenly took a breather,
He turned around to his twin and yelled,
“Come on Chicken Poop, she won’t believe you either!”

I had a good laugh with the ending. Sad I am to say that I worked with a guy decades ago that had a dozen kids or more. He and his wife used to rent a limo and go out to dinner at an expensive restaurant and leave the kids behind to eat hot dogs and beans while they ate steak-—the oldest had to watch the youngest. The father, the guy I worked with, couldn’t keep track of his kids names so when he was home he had them wear their names on a sign around their necks with a number to indicate in which order they were born. He was a heavy drinke too. During my years as a teacher, I had one student with the name of Chrystal Chandelier (I think the spelling of the last name was slightly different as it was the family name).
