Yesterday I woke up to a beautiful sun shiny day...It was like spring...I wanted to share it with all of you by a poem...BUT by some of your reactions, I don't think I'll do it again...love ya... TONGUE IN CHEEK HUMOR

Poem Artwork

I’ll Shut My Trap and Flee

No more spring weather forecasts from me,
I’ll let the Stormspinner spin, its how it should be.
I woke early yesterday with a day just like spring.
I wanted badly to share it, to make your heart sing…

But WOW, what a violent wind I stirred up.
I made many of you drop your hot coffee cups.
I guess they were still experiencing the cold.
For some of their remarks were certainly bold.

Apparently, I stimulated the memories of past tornados.
When all I wanted was to show were flowers and tomatoes.
So from this moment on, you won’t hear a forecast from me.
When spring is on its way, I’ll just shut my trap and flee.

Bonnie May

haha! what a hoot Bonnie - your Spring poem was just what the feel good doctor ordered for me -- even though it is still quite bitterly cold -- for the promise Spring brings, warms every heart -- much peace and love my dear friend -- Jon Michael

I don't see the reason to flee... hee, hee... You can stay here and write about funny or inspirational things instead. :~)

Ice and freeze still here. I did though see the deer and heard the birds singing.
Do not go far Bonnie...we need the humorous stories!

Bonnie, I can't find your "shake them poem" and don't agree to be a "rude reviewer" kind of authors. One should review the poem and sustain to throw undeserved barbs.
And this poem, telling us that you will Shut Your Trap...well it will be quite a silence you will left behind you.

It's on the way - today - around here. We're gonna soar up near 50 degrees - time to get out the suntan lotion, the BBQ grill, and do a little mud wrestlin in the yard!

I think you'd make a better storm chasing assistant than me; I don't do storms very well. LOL In fact, when it storms, I'm the one crying, "Make it STAAAWWWWWWWWWWWP!" LOL Adorable write, and no need to shut yer yap! I loves ya just the way ya are!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

If you shut your mouth, I'll hold my breath....and if you flee, I'll cry. Great Pic.

Wow. Yikes! OMG. Storm Spinner indeed. Its OK children. I love you both, but don't make me turn this car around or we all go home without ice cream!

I think somebody needs a spanking around here! Georg Mateos, Where are you? You are needed here to handle this chore!

It's a big Country and the weather is not the same but I enjoyed your wistful poem anticipating Spring even though it's still in the 20's here. Any thing as beautiful as your poem took my mind off the cold as it won't last forever.

I thinkk we can all share our opinions of most any topic, it is not always necessary to be in perfect agreement only respectful of each person's views.

Well what did I miss again missy? Seems I'm always here and somehow things must just go right over this blonde head....shucks!!! The thing is that I've been jabbering about the great weather here too...the sun and the sandals and citrus trees dripping with fresh fruit...and...so I've probably ticked off a few too...but...hey miss girl... you live in Colorado...and that ain't what is called "Sun City"....you've had lots of cold, snow and freezing weather...so to be excited about having some nice sunshine and green around is wonderful... Perhaps whoever wrote you may have been teasing? I hope? Anyway... you cannot FLEE.... we'd be in deep doodoo without you! hugs and stuff, lindalaw

Bonnie,

No need to shut your yap. The Spinner's looking for an assistant, her twin sister (and reluctant assistant) wants to back out! LOL Only thing I was saying is the only thing I don't like about Spring is the severe ... but then I couldn't be a StormSpinner, now could I?!? LOL Enjoyed reading this, you can take the tape off of your face. LOL

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
