God

The smile of an innocent child .
The calm in the storm
that’s running wild .
The humble heart that understands .
He’s got the whole world
in His hands

The laughter of God on the earth
is something found
if we soul search ,
Understanding what God is worth ,

is His reward at our rebirth .

God is sweet perfume on a breeze
the sweetness of fruit in the trees
the bright colours of flowers
and the sparkle in all the stars .

The glow of the moon and the sun .
God’s spirit lives in everyone
God is the word heard in our heart
and no one can tear it apart .

God is the light in the darkness
that rekindles all the starkness .
Peace in war and love in the hate
God is awesome and God is great .
