this isn't autobiographical...or maybe it is, but not recently...just wondering why it sometimes fades away
I used to be a romantic
I spent hours rhapsodizing
Over the color of blue in his eyes
About the gentle curve of his lips
The way his laughter filled my mind
And my heart
I used to shiver at the memory
Of his hand on my thigh
Lovemaking was a wonderland
Under the sheets and I cherished
Every minute and every touch
I used to cry in happiness
And laugh when I got angry
The slightest twinge of pain in his eyes
Brought instant regret to mine
I used to be in love, that’s it
I was so in love it could never end
Now I have only one thought
When my mind turns to him
What happened?
Was it me, or was it him
Was it both of us
And if it was why
I used to be so in love

(((HUGS))) and love, karla. :)
I think it is question we all ask, but it needs quantifying and rephrasing,
"I used to be so in love, with myself, what happened."
You seem to be a lot better lately, hope you are keeping well.
