A heart cried through the night.
It's grounded so it can't take flight,
two clipped wings that won't soar heights,
calling for dawn's dramatic light!
Through this inferno questing the eternal,
God to soothe the pain in this soul.
Only you can name it or change it,
confusion in this life has taken hold.
Yearning for the rose to superimpose,
the future that meets with the past,
vows were made promises were kept,
of loves glory nothing can surpass!
When rose petals fall the wind calls,
fragrances infiltrate the air.
Perfumes final destination,
to a hard ground sullen but bare.
Life will test such moments arrest,
keep memories real close to your heart.
You will ache and love will shake your world,
cause of love we survive and reside,
like specks in the universe unrehearsed.
Through pain we will remain strong.
We can see clear and unstopped ear,
hearts crying everywhere in dispair,
questing the path that's leads to paradise!
