Our president had so much to say,

but broadcasters gave O. J. Clinton' day.

He spoke of God's divine purpose for man,

unity, respect, and brothers hand in hand!

Loving your wife hugging your child,

for brother and country go that extra mile.

Stand tall for peace and terrorism crush,

shout freedom from the house tops no whisper or hush!

We forgot the Pilgrims seeking to be free,

sailed across the ocean and uncharted sea,

the real pain and beauty of liberty,

eatched deep in their hearts burnt constantly.

To be free was a vision we call a dream,

as rain kiss the earth a comfort so serene.

Flowers, shrubs, and trees sprout life abounds,

many miles they came to a blest sacred ground!

They survived because they followed God's plan,

preachers were sent to every nation and land.

We think we have it all and talk to the stars,

ask them for guidance no matter how far!

Our ideas colliding us with hell,

a godless generation we know oh so well.

Parents in nursing homes to busy to care,

the cost of living soars in the air.

The children now can put us in jail,

and courts uphold this and judges heads swell.

Justice is perverted behind close doors,

the wealthy exonerated what about the poor?

Discrimination, segregation, and racism on the rise,

greed and the dollar we think are the prize.

Music stinks, TV. like genocide depraved,

speedily putting young people in their graves.

Do you think for a minute Jesus will nat act,

let us destroy the world God made intact?

Look hatred in the eye for now it must die,

again we must say Lord teach us to pray!

Listen people we must start serving God,

and tread like paths where saints have trod.

We can't bring New Jerusalem to earth,

give Christ his glory and join the new Birth!
