singing dancing for the Lord God Supreme!
We are happy to know at last you are home,
moon walking around the Holy throne!
Dear Michael our brother you are not alone.
I followed you since the Ed. Sullivan show,
your impact on the world we may never know.
Like Elvis the world you did show,
love, joy, a heart pure as gold,
your majestic legacy still unfolds!
James Brown would call you the dance machine.
Jackie Wilson would say your turns are mean.
Smokey Robinson could say the angles love your voice,
we find it quite difficult to mourn and rejoice!
That man in the mirror makes me look deep inside.
You taught us not to part from a child's heart.
Some tried to destroy you with lies your style,
prayerfully you stood tall and said "just smile"
They love you in Asia, England, Ukraine, France,
your music make rhythm less people rise up and dance!
Strangers hug more black and white people talk,
I hear even in Russia they do
the Moonwalk.
You gave much money many gifts
to the poor,
your presence almost felt on every shore.
One thing brother Michael did understand,
He would be exalted forever loved,
as always it's God's Holy plan!
