When I feel the warmth from the sun on my body and the new day . I arise with joy and anticpation and wonderment of all that is before me. I can't wait for the chanting of the birds!

Just going for a walk,

witnessed the sun glistening,

my heart opens listening.

This day is made special,

and the rain comes with thunder,

causing the earth to wonder.

Trees out reaching arms,

the grounds sounds its alarm.

So dormant life can grow,

magnificent is the show.

Revealing many things,

what a happy time for Spring!

Roses many lovely flowers,

calling joy filled hours.

Morning-glories their glow,

to inspire all that we know.

Water, streams, rivers, and lakes,

enhancing yet romancing,

the beauty from dreams we take.

Watch the clouds on high,

birds rocketing through the sky.

Awe, so wonderful to thrive,

touching, feeling, being alive!

So much fun in the sun,

beaches, sand, woman, and man.

Smiling kids of every sort,

playing the constant retort.

So very marvelous,

terrific excellent to see,

how we blend with nature,

again, the beauty is to be!

Michael,
God sends us all things, the rain, the birds. I have always loved morning glories. I remember them as a little child growing near our home, They always greeted me every morning as I went out to play. You take nothing for granted, my brother. You take in everything you hear and see and bind it in your heart. So many of us rush by and never hear the lovely birds or hear the roaring thunder, or see the colorful rainbow. Many are to busy, to stop and listen. As for me, I thank God for even the simpliest things, and I know you do too. Thank you for sharing this beautiful poetry.

Blessings always,
~Linda
