Labor makes America works! I Thank all of you for your labor, I salute you and America!

God, I thank you for my country!
The greatest country in the world!
I salute you and the red, white and blue!
The black earth and the green grass,
from which all crops, trees move,
and breath and exist!
Grow, bud, bloom and flourish,
that we may eat become strong and think!
Especially thanking you Father,
for rained filled puffy cumulus cloud,
flooding earth's river beds, lakes, inlets, and great turbulent seas!
Nourihment from rich black dirt,
yes living soil, crowned by green grass.
Beautified bordered by arrays of flower,
crocuses, tulips, morning-glories, hycineth, scarlet red roses!
The beauty and wonder of God;s glory,
mixed with the labor of our hands!
And the illuminating light,
and glorious rays form the Sun!

Through the good hands of labor, Detroit is rebuilding. Your ode to Labor Day could apply as well to the city of Detroit.

Thank you, Michael. Reading your poem was like taking in a breath of fresh air. Yes, we do need to be more thankful for God's Glory! I miss reading more post about Jesus. Christ Love & Blessings, John Michael
