Peace and war are first cousins,
both peace and war reachable!
A call for peace to the world,
every man woman boy and girl.
All religious order ethnic group or creed,
we must pray for peace fall,
down on our knees!
Ask God to please return to us,
that wondrous beauty of the past,
the dreams of our forefathers,
a constitutions that will last!
Declaration of Independence,
that means all people are free,
that includes everybody,
you brothers and sisters and me!
We need to love one another more,
as our Savior the Lord has said.
Our dreams rose from the ashes,
watch our hopes rise from the dead!
Wow we can do all things,
there is nothing we can't do,
what we all must remember,
how to love one another true !
It started so long ago,
and began on a cross that tree,
Christ died for all us souls,
to keep our world just and free,
of hatred war and poverty,
the disdain and scars of bigotry!
We must relearn God's preamble,
just love Him and one another.
Let all weapons of war cease,
then you will know love my brother,
and the real meaning of peace!
In our search for prosperity we are at war with the world. And whenever we strike out against our brother we are at war, tearing down human peace and replacing it with destruction.
Until every one of us starts behaving in this way, peace will not come to this world.
I'm all for peace, and truly wish it could be achieved, but as long as there is religious fanaticism, it will remain wishful thinking. Religion has been responsible for most of the wars throughout history.
