Bernice was 96 YEARS old! Queen, mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother.
Great-great-grandmother and civil right activist and seam-stress!

She talked and lived the Christian life!
Proverbs Chapter 31 woman of God,
devoted wife, queen and mother,
share the paths where saints have trod!
Bernice lived discrimination first hand,
and segregation, intimidation-
forms of terrorism in this nation!
She is with greats, Martin, Rosa-
around the throne,
God said enough my child come on home!
Her parents experienced slavery-
in this life,
made her strong daring,
mother grand wife!
Yes Bernice the sister was tough,
she spoke the truth at all cost,
smiled and gave heavenly rebuff!
To her the phone call was a visit,
it was just like stopping by,
she gave her love unselfishly,
in heaven she would never die!
Bernice joins her late husband Antwon!
What an end to a marvelous story,
together with God and Jesus,
sharing their wondrous glory!
