With you I can be myself
Leave my serious side on the shelf
Dance and play we spend the day
Till the world stops and we flop
And start over again at sun’s rays
With you there is no fear
For I see life more clear
Shop and cook, we’re off the hook
We’re kids at heart from the start
Because your child comes out to look
With you there is no doubt
That love is what’s it about
Joke and laugh, take a bath
Till our skin wrinkles up in the tub
And we sleep in the aftermath
With you one thing is clear
That your love is always near
Cry and shout till we hammer it out
Till we both simmer down without a frown
And express our love with a shout
With you I surrender my soul
For it’s my heart that you stole
Sing and squawk while we take a walk
Till we’re out of breath, enough said
Let’s go home, cuddle, and talk

Where do you find such a love?
Excellent again, as all your poems I read.
