Before y'all send the Diet Police, this is all in fun. Written out of wishful-thinkin'. And I like country music -- or anyway, a lot of it. For the titles alone!! Fac', I'm gettin' ready t'pen an Ode to Willie[hafta ask Willie Who, sorry forya}. Just wanted to write more light verse. 'Been inspired by David Manning & others in Friday Noon Poets. More on that subject in my next web-log. Might post News on the subject.

No Pain, No Pain
Don’t talk to me about discipline.
It hurts, and it’s hard to rhyme.
Who wants to be rich and thin?
I say, Hold the line.
Somebody’s gotta stand up for Snickers
and Sex in the City.
So I get a little thicker.
Look at Conrad Twitty.
Ok, I’d like to have money
and just the one chin.
Ain’ gon’ happen, honey.
So let’s not pretend..
Would say more, but I’m busy
trying to find the remote control.
Thinking about exercise made me dizzy.
Wan’ another Tootsie Roll?
Funny write! How did you know I love country music? I LOVE country music, especially the legends like Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty, Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline, Hank, Sr., and Dolly Parton! (((HUGS))) and love, your traditional country music lovin' friend, Karen Lynn in Texas. :D

Thanks for this howling laugh! (And we're not even gonna discuss the Tootsie Roll thing...)
Not that I've ever had days like that, but I understand it happens to other people. Actually I quit watching TV. Lost the remote -- too much work having to get up and change the channels, then the food on my lap rolls to the floor... it's a mess.
Thanks for sharing this. Got a big kick out of it!

Blod Ties - Fantasy, Romance. Romantasy? A bit of whimsy for the weekend. A naive British tourist John Gormley takes a holiday in the ancient, remote kingdom of Perarboria. He does not suspect that his holiday love affair with a local beauty is desti
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
