A change of seasons is like chicken soup for the soul.

New blood flowing through my veins,

Invigorates my body and soul.

Heavenly passions fueling fires of love,

Set shining knights' hearts aglow.

Galloping hard to meet his foe,

Sir Lancelot rides again.

A dragon's tail to prove his worth,

Arthur's questing beast is slain.

Harbinger of humanity's unholy grail,

Destroyer of the Creator's bowl.

O' untimely Death thou art defeated,

Mankind's gravest mocker buried below.

Like the aroma of fine wine uncorked,

The future rushes out to meet me.

While doomsayers warn ships of storms to come,

I am lashed to the boundless vista of possibility.

By this poetic table I see His Holiness Poet Hesiod, and His Sublime Grace Poet Robert Frost, and I am proud to join them to salute You, Poet Rockie Coppolella.

In this poetic tray ambrosias are served by "A Change of Seasons".

Grab a piece of the future and sail on, Rockie.

Just a fine old mood you are in, positive and all and ready to face another winter too. Seasons change, we change, we get ready for whatever comes our way and moods are uplifting if we can say we are ready to take the challenges.

A great poem Rockie as I always say the seasons change to keep our mood up. It seems just as we are getting tired there it goes into the next season. thank you for sharing.

A sweeping poem, with the air of an orchestral string ensemble. It rushes a bit, but is all the more powerful for it. --holds questions for me. Good news on your projects? --Charlie
