"Once upon a time, long ago,"
He read from the story of old,
"Lived a race of young giants,
In a Northern kingdom so cold..."
"...Midnight moonlight, Aurora afire,
Fjords magically glistening,
Silhouetted warriors cry aloud,
All Valhalla is listening.
Raven-like Valkyrie on the rise,
Born aloft, they join the sky,
Choosers of the valiant slain,
Swiftly to the battle they fly.
Shrieking blackened old dragons,
Swarming appeared from their lair,
Flapping excitedly leathery wings,
Writhing erotically paired in midair,
Fleet-footed mercenaries die,
Setting giants' castles alight,
King-size terror unrestrained,
Fearless poets paint the night.
O' sweet victory now in sight,
The heroes' swords emerge,
Bloody jotun's head cut-off,
Frosty land is joyously purged."
After reading from his old book,
This story is now at a close,
As giant eyes droop and shut,
Dreaming of youth's pink rose.

I wrote a child's dragon story, a year ago, to have a child in Faith and Hope! and to Believe,
I love your take here, and your wording behooves me! as it brings joy for my eyes, ears and heart to see!
You write this "tale" of medieval times with such flair, I swear you were once there, fighting those dragons with utmost caution, valiance y and care!
