Rest in peace, little one...
Dry your tears, Daddy
You know this had to be
God had his reasons
When the angels came for me
Never think I am gone
For I live in your heart
I'm just a memory away
We will never be apart
*****************************
I will miss you Daddy
Please try to understand
I feel such peace here
When Jesus holds my hand
I feel so much love
When the angels sing for me
The beauty of Heaven
Such perfect harmony
*****************************
I am your guardian angel
I am your shining star
That watches over you
No matter where you are
Feel me in a gentle breeze
Blowing in your hair
Feel me in the sunshine
For I will be there
****************************
Be happy for me Daddy
Here there are no tears
The gentle smile of Jesus
Chased away all my fears
When you miss me Daddy
Just look up at the sky
I'll send you all my love
On the wings of a butterfly...
Heart breaking in its sadness but still breathes a sigh of hope for a no doubt greif stricken father. I cannot begin to imagine what it would be like to lose a child but the pain to me would at the very least be excruciating. My sypathies to the parent.
Soul stirring, heartbreaking, yet brimming with hope. It is always hard whenever a parent loses a child, especially a baby, who hasn't really begun to live! Such a shame; may God be with you (or whoevever the child belonged to); God give you (them) strength, peace, and comfort during this difficult time! Very beautilly written, as always, Linda; very well done!

"When you miss me Daddy
Just look up at the sky
I'll send you all my love
On the wings of a butterfly..." These are the words of the almighty to console the parents of the small baby who visited them for a while to convey the blessings of God. Undrstand and stand by the parents, the child is the God visiting. Great poem you have penned ever dear Linda.

Very beautiful, Linda, maybe one of your best. My prayers go to the family for their loss of such a young child. Keep up the good work.
What a wonderful poem
Never was God blamed
While from beginning to end
Jesus claimed.
Who are we who could understand
Why HE would come so early
And take a child by the hand.

Robin Ouzman Hislop's poetry is certainly in dialogue with some of the key architects of the 'poetics of indeterminacy' – both the Modernist strands represented by the likes of Beckett and Stein, and the postmodernist strands represented, initially,
