that's been bothering me?
Why is Daddy always drunk~
at least he seems to be.
He don't kiss and hug me ~
Mom, does he care at all?
Sometimes he stays away for
days and don't even call.
Mom, can I ask you a question?
Why does Daddy hit you?
It makes me cry so hard Mom~
What did you do?
I wish that he would go away~
Leave us both alone.
Life would be better for us
with him gone!

Why does Daddy hate us?
When he comes home from work
all he can do is fuss.
I wish he would stay at the bar
he goes to every nite~
Never come home again if all
he can do is fight!

Why can't I be like girls at school?
They have Daddy's that hug them -
their Daddy's are so cool.
Mom, all I have is my teddy and
you to hold me tight~
Daddy just don't love us Mom~
he don't treat us right.....
why do daddies and mommies hurt the ones they love? it should never be...and this moves me to tears. powerful and heart rending...(((HUGS))) to our children and you for caring...love, karla. :(

Always great writes Linda. There are so many children out there that see and hear things, and experience things first hand, that are so tragically awful. And those parents don't realize, or maybe they just don't care. Thanks for the cry Linda, I think I needed it! Lisa

linda this is so true and so sad, you are such an excellent write, it brings tears to my eyes, many women live this every day. Many women don't realize that the scars will fall on there children.
