To have tears - you need to have eyes. Eyes that see. Eyes that will do.
Eyes that motivate one to stop all the hate. Eyes that will do something before it's too late.

Linda, I believe that you have written a beautiful poem calling attention to a multitude of ills our country is facing. I'm not a believer and don't consider praying as a solution, but if it brings about more awareness of the problems and causes people to vote for the people who can invoke the desired outcome, I'm all for it.
