Lord, this is a simple prayer For a precious Grandchild She captured my heart From the first time she smiled Hold her hand through her life The years go swiftly by Guide her steps along the way Whatever she needs supply There will be disappointments Sometimes she'll shed a tear In those hurting, sad times Let her feel You near Seventeen years old now The apple of her Nana's eye Help her spread her wings, dear Lord Teach her how to fly (C) 2015 Linda Hill
