My name is Jake.. just a baby, you see
I don't even know if you'll listen to me.
I don't want much for Christmas this year
Maybe a sign that Zack is near.
He is my brother... Jesus took him away..
I miss him Santa, more than words can say.
Mommy cries alot and Daddy does too
Grandma is sick, and not much a baby can do.
On Christmas eve when you come in your sleigh
And you put out the presents for Christmas day.
Could you put one for Zack and add his name
Without Zack with us it won't be the same.
I'll give it to Jesus to give to my brother
It will be a Christmas like no other.
I hope Mommy will know Zack is always a part
I hope she will feel Zack deep in her heart.
Santa I know this is a tall order for you
But just see what you can do.
Everyone smiles and tries to hide it from me
They don't understand even babies can see.
I know they are sad , but Zack is not gone
He only went to his Heavenly home.
Thank you Santa for all that you do
And Santa, I know Zack thanks you too.

This was really heartfelt and touching. Zack is with Jesus and is at a special playground free of pain, he is having fun now and being loved by many.

This has touched me deeply. Through the eyes of a child many things can be seen. It was the love of my child that helped me to carry on when I lost my son.

My dear friend. What can I say!!!!!!!! You touch my heart as no other. You have written such wonderful words about our angel, Zack. With every poem you write, more tears flow.
I know Zack is around. I have had a few dreams about him. The last dream I had, I asked him "Where's grandmas face?" (whenever I would say this, he would scrunch up his face, close his eyes, and smile the biggest smile) He looked at me with the biggest smile I had seen since he got sick. I know he is OK.
Now, with this poem, from Jake's point of view, I am speechless. You will always have a special place in my heart.
And to all here at AD, thank you for your heartwarming words. I am so proud to be the grandmother of someone who touched so many lives.
I'm sure Zack will have glorious Christmas
