we need not to kill a person ....if we kill his/her interests that is sufficient in our part we have killed him/her...in one way...so abusing is worst than killing...not only in childrens' psycological way even in adult psychology too, when a person starts ignoring us or depriving us then we start building walls to stop that other man feelings not to come in to our hearts...so as child did in your poem...it is very true...thanks for sharing

A powerful poem holding so much truth. Verbal and emotional abuse can be equally as damaging as physical. This touched me and I can relate to it well.Very well written Linda.

Dear heart Linda, it is always the most young or most old ... the weakest ... who seem to take a pounding either pyschological or physical isn't it. Again an outstanding write from a wonderful Lady who just happens to be one of the best writers at AD. I am always under your spell. Trapped by the webb you weave so well. Excellent write ... Child Abuse is really heart ... its too bad bcoz a child get his character as his childhood ... if a child dont get a better nourishment his future will be darkened and it spoil his life as whole. You have done a wonderful work ..
