Linda, what a tremendous poem. Again you show the deep insight you have into others lives. The empathic heart of yours beats so strong. Never think that you are not loved here or feel lost yourself and alone.

Linda,
This poem is so beautiful and comforting to those who have experienced such a loss. One of my really good friends lost her husband to cancer three years ago and through poetry of others -- including my own -- and the power of prayer, she is now engaged once more to a wonderful man. Memories never fade, but life goes on, the world keeps turning and in time, everything works itself out.
Thanks for this powerful write. I enjoyed it greatly.

Linda, such a beautiful poem. So filled with love and longing. Love the whole poem but these lines especially:

Rest in peace, my husband
Sleep, for it won't be long
Until we are together again
Dancing to the angels song
