Poem Artwork

God sent me from Heaven
To stand by your side
Don't be afraid, little one
God heard you when you cried
He knows you sickness is great
How weary is your soul
I'm here to help you across
Gods heavenly threshold

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Your Mama rocks you to sleep
Her tears flow as cold rain
She feels her tiny baby's
Burning fever and pain
She knows the end is near
Her heart is breaking in too
She doesn't see me now
Or know I've come for you

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

You are one of Gods chosen
And angel you will be
A halo and beautiful wings
And you will look like me
God grants some many years
Some only days
We aren't here to question
God's mysterious ways

<><><><><><><><><><><>><><><>

Mama lowers you in your bed
Do you see the light
Take my hand and come
God wants you tonite
He'll take away all your pain
You won't cry anymore
Such peace and beauty lies
Just beyond heavens door

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

God sent me from Heaven
To stand by your side
Don't be afraid , little one
God heard you when you cried

I am most far from being a angel but I do indeed cry when I read your writes, and this one is no exception to that rule!!!! You my dear peer and friend have a most nuturing and unique way of embodying a persons heart and mind as well as envoking a persons most powerful emotional responses from your writes...and all of this means you are one truly exceptional and gifted writer!!!!
This is beautiful, touching, moving, precious and another angelic piece to remember always and cherish!
((((Hugs))))
