There once was a witch from Nantucket
Who brewed all her spells in a bucket;
Bat wings and eye of newt
She stirred with a Pan flute,
This crazy old witch from Nantucket.
“Delightful”, said the witch from Nantucket
As she added more things to her bucket;
She cackled with glee
As she added frog’s knee,
The crazy old witch from Nantucket.
“Needs more salt,” said the witch from Nantucket
As she added, then rechecked the bucket;
“Now that's much better,
I can taste Irish setter”,
Said the crazy old witch from Nantucket.
There once was a witch from Nantucket
Who brewed all her spells in a bucket;
She put a hex on the smell
So the neighbours couldn't tell
What went into her bucket in Nantucket.

Limericks are my favorite type of poem--I never thought of seevral making up 1 story--its classic!
Homer's Ill Iliad & Odd Sea Odyssey (420 pages) is an adult satire/parody rewrite of the classic stories of the 10 year Trojan War and of the 10 year adventure of Odysseus trying to return home to his native Ithaca.
