I am nothing on the edges

where the land has slipped away
where my soul is but

afraid to
 even pray

I am nothing

there  but

 'banshee's  howl'

( screaming
ghoulish fray)

on the edges

I am nothing

yet  still

I  cling ...I  stay.

In the middle...
I am different

THERE

my feet are firm

and I try to
sprout out beauty

and I try

to build and learn

and The Start ?

It is a safe foothold

 lifting me to dreams

and it is the place

I skip and laugh

and strive

for better things

but,the edges,

like a magnet

draw grit
from weaker beings

so

I'm nothing on the edges

where my world has slipped away

where my soul is but

struggling just to pray,

I am nothing there

but banshee howls

(of screaming ghoulish fray)

on the edges,

I am NOTHING,

yet still ...
I  cling...and stay.

THOUGH BANSHEE HOWL AND WINDS DOTH BLOW, THOUGH THE STORMS RAGE AND WHISPER 'LET GO', THOUGH OUR FEET 'SLIDE' ON THE SLICKENED ROCK, AND OUR FINGERS NUMB AS OUR FAITH IS MOCKED...WE UPWARD PRESS AND IGNORE THE VILE CLOUT, FOR WE KNOW IF WE TRUST AND NEVER DOUBT...JESUS WILL SURELY BRING US OUT! HALLELUJAH! A SO FINE WORK...YES, IT CAN GET PRETTY ON LIFE MOUNTAIN. SOMETIMES EVEN THE MIDDLE ROAD GETS ROUGH. BUT WE CAN'T STOP, WE'VE GOT TO GO ON...AND SEE WHAT THE END WILL BE! THANKS, KAY...SO ENJOYED THIS INSPIRATIONAL WORK. CAN'T YOU TELL??!(SMILE). LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE*HIS INSPIRATIONS
