Miniscule shreads.

by Kay P Devenish

Yesterday's just shrapnel now
sticking through my heart,
it didn't take an atom bomb
to blow my soul apart,
just the sight of you that night
held in her embrace,
pure dynamite, set alight,
exploding in my face.
Bits of me are everywhere
but none of them you'll find,
the human eye can't see a lie...
or touch a blown up mind.
The enemy
I couldn't see,
(that helped you to succeed),
there is no cross to mark my grave,
no eulogy to read.

Some folks think they see me still...
but ,it's MY ghost they see,
for in life's battlefield, concealed,
shreads miniscule

there's......................... " me."

( p.s.

To all the darlings who commented on my daughter's birthday poem,(my last post)thank you so much she was so excited to see it ,she just loved it...and it is definately going into our photo album with our other treasures.A BIG Hug from Alexandra and me to you.)

 AND LOTS OF KISSES TOO.

Kay, this is a super write. The flow and rhyme were excellent. Not one glitch anywhere. Read like a charm.
