So Sad, So Lonely
Twas a sad and lonely day,
No,
not cause a friend had passed away.
Twas a sad and lonely night,
No,
not cause my love had taken flight.
What to do on such a day,
Where to go,
what to say?
Wandering the rooms
from here to there,
friends I have
I know not where.
Leave my home
go take a ride,
but oh so lonely
when back inside.
Wireless call
to pass the time,
but telephone talk
not my line.
Watch TV
then read a book
still tis
though
a lonely time,
cause my computer's
not online.
