Distant Star You walk beside me in the hypnotic breeze, on this path that is accompanied by your absence Your words speak to me from the vast universe though my ears are unable to hear your voice There is an empty space in each of our lives that has been reserved for one another As life�s work takes us on a journey of Uncommon pathways, headed for a common destination My life has become much easier since I allowed my soul to remember you To acknowledge that what we each learn in this lifetime will provide perfection to our awaited union Soon I will welcome you with hungry kisses as you envelope my body within your soul And in the fire and splendor of our distant star the glory of eternity will fulfill our promise Sherry Gail Heim July 11, 2004 Copyright � Sherry Gail Heim 2004

Sherry, sometimes the harder we try to cover up, push away, forget, bury, or completely ignore people and/or memories, the closer they become to us.
This is what I found in your words, was that as soon as you allowed yourself to become comfortable with your memory....it actually gave you a sense of rest and peace.
An excellent and most enjoyable read.
