He was a little boy who had a mission

He was going to see Jesus before Christmas

He went to places he thought he would surely

see Jesus clearly. He went to churches, and

convents, and all his relatives, and still he

just didn't seem to be able to see Jesus

He was getting worried and told his father

"I haven't seem him yet! I have to see

him before Christmas. I want to give him

a birthday present!" ' Don't worry son, I have

a feeling Jesus will show up just in time." as he smiled at his son with

love, he knew that it was out of his hands and up to Jesus

on how to decide when he woudl help his son experience

his presense. It was Christmas eve and still no sigh of Jesus.

He wondered how he would ever be able to give him his gift

if he didn't see him.As he waited for the bus to take him home

from his friends house he noticed a man who looked like he hadn't

eaten or taken a bath for weeks.

Tommy thought boy, he better stay away from me. I have

heard about people ilike that.He couldn't wait until the bus came so that

he wouldn't be near him anymore.The man started coming closer.

Tomy's heart started pounding!"Get away from me . I don't  have

any money for  you go away!"As he got nearer Tommy looked

straight into his eyes and saw a compassion, wisdom, and

beauty ,and he just couldn't  keep his eyes off him." Tommy, you have

been looking for me haven't you?"He smiled as if he could see right

through his heart.His heart kept pounding harder. Could it be

that this man who looked so dirty could be Jesus?"Tommy stuttered and

asked ,"Ah are you Jesus?". Tommy kept looking into his eyes."Yes

Tommy. You said there was a gift you wanted to give me.?A birhtday

gift."Yes, I have it right here." Tommy couldn't believe his eyes and ears!

" I made a card with a drawing of my heart on it. I want to give it to you."

"Tommy that is a perfect gift. Because of your gift I will tell you a secret.

Remember the places you went to find me and couldn't? Well, I was

there!You just weren't ready to see me yet. You see I am in everyone!"

Jesus smiled and then walked away.Tommy was so excited, but

wondered if anyone would believe what he just saw!His father would.

Tommy told his father and he believed him and they had the best

Christmas ever!
