Sometimes I wonder, if this perfect life
Really truly exists.
Whether it’s a figment of my imagination
Just a whimsical whim.

The days, the nights, the forever mores
Are what’s messing with my head
You make me laugh and smile and be
More than I ever thought I was

This cannot last forever
The joke should be on me
Because if life were this easy
Why would it touch me?

I’ve fought for happiness before
And look what I’ve begot
A closet full of misery
And a whole world of uncertainty

The fear I face every day
Of falling or caring too much

You cannot make me better
You cannot quell my fears
Those are demons I must fight
And fight I’ve done for years

So I'll enjoy what is
And stop questioning fate
For no one really knows whether life is
Paradise or Paradox.
