In my youth, I loved to fish Fried trout became my favorite dish But that was long ago. Now, I don't use fishing hooks And fish don't give me dirty looks. Instead, I let the fishies grow. The fish feel safer in the brooks Since they're not hassled by my hooks But still I have my catch in tow My camera shoots the fish for me And I go home where people see The many shots I took for show The fish and I have better lives Now we're free from gutting knives And I don't hook the fish no mo. Ahh... "no mo" <--- you're a word play poet! I take great joy in slightly bending language.. I think it makes for interesting reading.. besides, it comes in handy for rhyming, eh? LOL. Your message, herein, is lovely. Cameras DO make a shot less painful/deadly. Carry on. katy xox.

Henry I like this..I always wondered if it hurt
the fish to have that hook in their mouths...it must
hurt...My sons always put the fish back in the water..
they fish for fun but don't keep the fish...good
poem...I love the last line...LOL...floria
