Three cheers for the Fourth of July When fireworks light up the sky. Sparklers keep burning While freezers keep churning For desert will be served by and by.
There is ice cream galore We keep asking for more 'Till our tummies won't fit our pants Cause that is the way We live out this day. Moderation don't stand a chance.
We have a great nation But here's a notation It's secure because of our might, And the brave folk we've got That wonderful lot Who protect us all through the night.
Three cheers for the red, white, and blue The Air Force, the Navy, and Army folk too. Plus the Marines, many still in their teens. Thank you boys, thank you girls, You're protecting us all. So I say it again, "Thanks onto you."
