That is a crock
Right now I'm down
With writer's block


So I just write
'Bout what I know
I try to make
A gallant show.


And what I know?
Please take a guess.
Yep, writer's block,
I must confess


I'm not guilty
Of this big mess.
'Tis writer's block
With which I'm blessed.

Aren't we all. I think it is, indeed, part of the creative process, that inner fight with what holds us back from peeling open our hearts and walking naked into our art. Wonderful even as it is touching on terror.
