Will You Remember Me…?



I wonder sometimes,
When the day ends,
And silence reigns,
Amid the falling stars,
And weeping moon,

If you will remember me,
In the blazing heat of noon,
When the flowers bloom,
And life is good,
Will you hear my name,
When someone calls to you?

When you look into her eyes,
The one you left me for,
Will you see the love,
I had inside?

I wonder sometimes,
Why I came,
Even more,
Why I stayed-

When I knew it was all,
For naught,
You say not a game,
But only the insane,
Could hold you so close,
And forget for a moment,
That you were merely a ghost-

A figment of my creation,
Someone to hold my hand,
And pretend to understand,
The darkness of my heart…

When we part,
As surely we will,
Will you remember me,
When the nights are still?

Will you look out your window,
Staring into the sky,
And when the moon winks,
Her lovely eye,
Will you see me,
Whisper good-bye?
