A Response to Sanil's Challenge
Staring into your eyes, But seeing only your sweet lips, Wanting to touch them With my fingertips, See if they are as soft As they look… So full and lovely, Drawing me like a moth to the flame Burning so brightly in my heart! I want to drink from them, Taste that sweetness from your soul, Fill me with love so I can show How much I love you too… Tilting my head, And you tease, Trailing those lips across my neck, Sweeping your sweet kisses in a gentle path That leads to my heart, And then it starts… A blaze of passion that makes me weak, As our lips finally meet, And I feel your love flood my soul, And finally know That I am alive once more! Feeling like I am falling, Into the deep abyss of something I once feared, This love of yours that drew me near, Arousing such passion that my eyes tear With the love I feel for you, And the kiss of love that I hope will never end, Starts here with you my beloved friend…
