To take my mind off this fear,
I am feeling tonight,
Feel like walking away,
Pass from the day…
If you were touching my lips,
I would be in such bliss,
I would smile and say,
Never go away…
Feeling so down,
Wishing I was buried in the ground,
They wonder why I am here,
Don’t understand,
It’s where I hide my tears…
Wishing you were here,
Wouldn’t matter what you do,
Just hold me close,
And chase away the ghosts-
And the demons of the present,
I would savor your sweet scent,
And love every moment we spent
In each other’s arms,
Exploring your charms…
I think of you during the day,
And you help me so much,
Showing me the way,
Making me believe again,
And I would say,
Never leave,
Make me believe in love once more…
At night when you sleep my love,
The touch you feel on your cheek is me,
Kissing you so softly,
So you don’t wake up…
The weight on your shoulder is me,
Laying my head on your chest,
And singing softly in your ears,
Sweet songs for only you to hear…
If your fingers are sore,
It’s because I was holding your hand,
As you slept,
Wishing those hands were mine,
To kiss and love forever…
Dream of me my love,
As I dream of you,
And maybe we can be together,
If only in our dreams,
For one lovely night…
I love you,
Think of nothing except
That a sweet prince loves me,
As I love him…
I don’t why you came,
Or if you’ll stay,
But no matter what you do,
My heart and soul,
Belong to you,
Because,
I love you.

Superb! SO very well written and the emotions expressed are so without the cloying cuteness of adolescence -- a love poem for adults (sans the usual dip into erotica). Those differences make this a quality write! Really, really great work!
