Some people can look into your eyes and tell you lies - but you should figure out whether it's the truth or not.
Sad one. Hope it is just fiction and the other poem about true love is what you experience lately.

Reindeer, promises are fools gold....I think we would do better if we never make a promise. This is bittersweet, and I think you made the points so well, with your beautiful verses!

To test a loved on and see them fail is horrid. I love the expression. Very much a modern-day poem, but with the tact of a classic. Good approach and good topic. I loved it. Unique.

Sad and cool, Reindeer, like a French noir film set to verse... A very successful write beyond your usual (as if anything you do is "usual"...) poetry. The picture helped set the mood, too. Excellent!
