God how the winds blow!
Icely cool-
Freezing my soul,
Inside of you...
I feel winter's breath,
Smell around me silent death,
Amber rises-
God-
It's changed hue,
No longer gorged red bloody heat,
Just pale white hungering meat...
Winter!
Frost on blackened window panes,
Blood too thick for thinning veins,
Mind trying to think through,
Ice-encrusted memories of you...

This poem evoked an image of ice... of struggle to break through...of a strong will trying hard to move the chill of memories...and left for the reader (my interpretation anyway)a hope that thaw will come soon...hopefully.
I really was touched by this poem,it was excellent.
