When I was young and trim and strong of limb
And my brain was a thing to behold
You could write a book about my classic good looks
I was charming fast and bold.
And nobody cared.
And when I was forty I was dapper and sporty
The accomplishments flowed one by one
I was quick on my feet and a treat to meet
I could always get the job done.
And nobody gave a damn.
Now I’ve slowed down a lot I’ve no longer got
All those assets in bountiful heaps
I’m late to bed and late to get up
And the world now gives me the creeps.
Still nobody cares.
So I follow the sun when my day is done
And watch it go down from the shore
As I say goodbye with a tear in my eye
And show the world what they used to adore.
The picture is part of the humor, Ron, something you would do well to bone up on. This guy looks like a dufus, but he at least fills up a jock strap--about the only thing he and I have in common.
" And nobody cared " Who told you that?
You know how we love you and your humor!
The world is sure richer because of your presence in many ways than one JK
The Wholly Book of Doo-Doo-Rot-on-Me is adult satirical humor featuring adult language and adult content, and the work is a parody of the Old Testament Book of Deuteronomy.
