This poem is a spoof about a 50 year old who never matured past age 16. He never was cool, was never looked on by his peers as cool, but never knew it. He just wasted his life stuck in a make believe time warp.

Cool is what I am.

I’m a wasted dude and I’m in no mood
To start up eatin’ that healthy food

The girls used to kiss me all the time

Cool, but either shallow inside or jaded from seeing and doing everything and having all the girls, such that it's gotten old, but he still holds on to his coolness. The bad boy is now running away from the law because that's what cool people do, especially if he's got a deadly STD from his time being a ladies man. Reminds me of that poem where the writer says, "We too cool, we skip school, we have fun, we die young..." It was a female black writer. Good work. Danae
Love it, man, because that is how my mindset used to be, and I guess still is to an extent. Although old now, I still, hopefully think I am cool cool cool cool / Cool is what I am.
