 OOPS!
(Oozing Orange Pee Syndrome)

This is a tale about pee. To be more specific it’s a tale of oozing orange pee. I never saw orange pee before today, and, now that I think about it, once is enough for me. With that said, I know you’re just sloshing over with wetness to hear more about the splish and the splash of orange pee. It’s sort of like those raindrops that keep falling on your head—only different.

“What’s orange, wet, and smells like pee?” the little boy asked his mom.
“It’s sort of like orange juice,” she replied hoping that would end his inquiries.
It didn’t. “Well, he replied, “It just rained orange juice all over the bathroom floor.”
She nearly pee’d her pants, in a manner of speaking.
“Young man, if you missed the toilet bowl again, you’re gonna be up to your sore kneecaps in it.”
The boy contemplated orange legs from the knees down, and thought “Why not?”
“Oh, come-on, mom. You wouldn’t do that to your only son, wouldja?”
“In a New York minute, I would,” was her answer.
With that, the boy gave a royal flush to the gathering ooze
and watched as it swirled down the drain like stale old booze.
“It must be one of those philosophy subjects,” he mused.
“The only winners are the losers. Ha ha.”

When a little germ attacks you “down there”
and it stains up your very best underwear
Be bold and brave like one of the few
and thankful there’s a tiny pill for you.
It’ll brighten your day
With a certain hue
And give you a different point of view.

A fun bit of funny. Thanks to Google, I have found that pee can range in color from pea green to purple, depending upon the drug or disease. And, if you want your urine to smell bad, eat asparagus…

Now I know why old man, athletic director, swimming teacher, Johnson, would yell at us, "Don't your-innate in the pool!" It was a big bathtub that would get mighty stale until it was empty and refilled every Thursday night.

Gotta love a child's POV, especially when we all had similar types of questions as this bit of nostalgia flash fiction suggests. You've not lost your touch, Ed. Keep them coming.
