Be honest with your audience and readers
Act with confidence without arrogance
Always be a good listener
Be polite without overflowing
Encouraging within limits
Laugh with sincerity
Show modesty to a fault
Act like a pushover in casual discussions
But strike like a rattler when they take the bait;
Smile when appropriate.

In Business...
There is something poetic in numbers
when both the price of oil falls and
your investment account rises.
It falls short of ecstasy but money has
its limitations. Profits will do
until a real money tsunami comes along.

In Love...
All’s fair in love and war, they say, but is it?
Sometimes being fair hurts too much
when you have real skin in the game.
Never say I love you when
there isn’t at least a blanket and pillow nearby.
It is never a sin to tell a lie
When the worst that can happen is
still really good.
Do not ask if it is OK--
