*Why Me?* A Winter Giovanni poem Why me? I just wanted to be loved by a good man. Why was I mistreated and used by that good man. You told me all the right things, Made me believe I was living my dream. Then all of suddenly, I found that you were just using me! Oh my God! How could this be? You crushed my heart, All I ever did was love you unconditionally. God protects babies and yes even fools, How could I have been goo goo gah gah all over you?
