Friends! I've not been around much. It's been very busy what with the musical (West Side Story) and all and the next couple of weeks will be even busier until presentations are over. I shall try to read and comment as best I can. In the meantime, here are a few relevant thoughts that came to me in French. Thank you for your continued interest and support. A very romantic person I've found you to be by reading these poems and ones like this one. You are a friend to all and helpful to so many on the den. I cannot believe the friends who review your work. It is absolutely amazing the following you have. The school kids must love you and surround you and give you much support. Who can help but love you as a person who is so kindhearted and well versed.-
This is lovely -- reads like a lullaby, Reg. Beautiful thoughts in a flowing poem.

I love the French version..sits better..seems to flow right into my heart..the English also touches my soul for it has ITS particular vibes as well..I love the English language..I learnt French in school however I must say I had some difficulties with it..

What can I say? If it were not for you, I wouldn't be reading such romantic and beautiful poetry on the Den. Once again your word are strong and flawless. I wish I could here it verbally in French.

Beautiful poem in both languages Regis, though I love the French ....'When you're a Jet, You're a Jet don't forget, from your first cigarette to your last dyin' breath'....I forgot, you don't smoke though do you ?!...:)
Regis, how wonderful! This is darling, romantic! I took French about 40 years ago! - my teacher didn't have a name for "Rhonda" so she just named me "FIFI"...oh, the jokes - my aunt's poodle was "FIFI", too! Conjugating was next to impossible, when everyone was cracking up, when she called on me! But I love the looks of it, written properly here! It's my favorite foreign language,

SO very beautiful, Regis...love is such a precious gift! Oh, and even though I cannot translate much straight from the French, just the sight of the language is enticing!
Have you seen the movie version of the Broadway play "Rent", there is a song called Without You......I think thats the name of it......I love it.......I would suggest you rent or buy it if you have the chance, if you are partial to musicals..........
