This surely would of entertained my hyper children. Such love for your children to do this for them. My Father used to read to me too, and I can remember him doing that.
This alliteration poem must have been difficult to write but you make it seem effortless. It's a bit of a tongue twister too trying to read all the words starting with the same letter.
Sounds like a fun poem for kids. Hope your kids liked it. Thanks for sharing.
you posted this in march........absolutely delightful! how did i miss it? arghh %#+&.#$%^& and you KNOW its right up my alley of 'like' thank you regis...pat

Peter Piper's Plum Pickled after these Perfect Peaches, Regis! :)) Alliteration that's more than a little ration and certainly not a litter ration... A pure paperchase of fun, I'd say. Your kids must have wonderful vocabularies! xx
"Charlie Child cherishes cherries, Chocolaty, chilled and chopped" is the special one for me Regis. You expended some effort to construct these examples. It is fun and entertaining. I bid you love and peace my dear friend. Jon Michael
Hi Regis, this is quite a tongue twister. Sorry I haven't been around, but have been away on a much needed vacation. Happy to get back and read your poems. May God bless you every day of your life.
So glad it wasn't a litter nation–let's spread a little atomic waste here and there. It's a delightful little piece that I'm sure your kids enjoyed hearing you read to them. We both have a propensity to play on words–I know I do and I'm glad when others feel the same.
It takes two to tango. Now it is time to dance. I and my cat are here to sing a song. Lyrics written by Regis Auffray. Best of music, best of the century. Wow.
Regis, I was attracted to the funny title. I like the idea of boosting the natural creativity of children by showing them the pleasure of playing with language. It's the kind of exercise I used to do with my daughter and we certainly had a lot of fun.
A very nice write indeed and sure makes one smile. Well done as always Regis and might I add I sure like the name Lily as that is my newly born granddaughters name. Your friend Laura
I'm beginning to not like you very much, you are so damned talented, bud. Haha! Just kidding, of course, but your mind is a treasure trove of goodies, and it is something that has been there for some time if this was written to your children while they were babies.
When vacationing at a mysterious Maine lighthouse, ten-year-old Dylan befriends a ghostly lighthouse keeper who must protect Dylan from danger after he learns a very big secret.
All About how Lila chooses how to handle her "worries" about the first day of school. Another Mom's Choice Award Seal of Excellence recipient in the "Kids with Worries" book series.
Sounds like a fun poem for kids. Hope your kids liked it. Thanks for sharing.
